THE FLAT
Very large one bedroom, first floor flat on the outskirts of the town centre in Letchworth Garden City, Herts.
THE ROOMS
Brand new kitchen AND bathroom fitted 12 months ago and redecorated throughout i.e new carpet in hall and living room, new lino in bathroom and kitchen, new wooden floor in bedroom, new doors/shelves/units/cupboards and sink/bath/toilet/powershower etc only 1 yr old!!!! Seperate bathroom, living room, kitchen and bedroom and two very large storage cupboards. Big shed out back.
THE BUILDING
Six flats in the building, this is on the first floor. There are mature residents in the two flats on the ground floor, one opposite on the first floor and two youngish professional couples in the two flats upstairs. Never had a single problem with any of the neighbours, couldn't ask to live amongst more decent people.
THE AREA
Very quiet and secure private residential cul-de-sac. Bungalows to one side and a residential home to the other so it's almost silent! 30 seconds walk to the corner shop (seriously, I do it in my slippers!) and 7-8 mins to town centre/station. Letchworth is a very affluent and desirable area in Herts. True sense of community. Near to country but still only 25 mins direct by train to King's Cross. Big communal garden out back secluded by trees and only accessible through a padlocked fence which you have keys for!
HOW MUCH?
ONLY £70 PER WEEK!!!! That includes a charge for cleaning of all the communal areas, keeping of the plants, washing your windows and doing minor repairs!!!
SOUNDS PERFECT, WHY MOVE?
Usual story, moved in with girlfriend, she moved out and I've had a job offer in Victoria. Plus I'm sick of seeing her miserable boat race everywhere I go.
