we are looking to exchange our ground floor 3 bed massionette with garden in havant for a property in cornwall within commuting distance of truro as my husband has been transferred there with his job so we are looking to move within the next six weeks .Our property is semi rural on the edge of an estate with large fields next to us leading to a large country park we are also within walking distance to local schools and shops and within 10 mins drive to Portsmouth this property is in liegh park i think the record needs to be set right regarding this area we have lived here for over 3 years and the estate is now almost completely bought houses it has the lowest crime rate for the south of england and is not a "rough " estate as some people on these sites seem to have labelled it .the estate might have had a reputation years ago but due to a lot of investment by the council this place is now becoming quiet an affluent area .so i think the people who listen to heresay and rumours about this place should check it out first before dissmising it as no go area.
