PostAdvert Subject: 3/4 bed semi det hse rural Lincolnshire

I have a semi detatched 3 bedroom (plus seperate dining room that can be used as bedroom) council house with a good size garden in a small and very quiet village (which I think is now all privately owned). I rent from South Kesteven district council and the weekly rent is £69.

Old Somerby is situated 4 miles from Grantham, Lincolnshire - NG33 4AH. We are a 5 minute drive from the A1 and 4 miles from Grantham town - 10 mins on the bus (bus stop is right outside the house). Grantham is 1hr & 15 mins direct by train to Kings Cross. Nottingham city centre is around a 45 minute drive and Lincoln is around an hours drive away.

Photos of the outside of the house and some pics from around the village can be seen on live spaces:

Open fires in the dining room and living room with a back boiler that heats radiators in the hall, bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom (there is no gas in the village). We have replaced all but one of the carpets within the last year. Very nice views from the windows, short walk to village playing field (village surrounded by fields).

The nearest primary school is in the next village - only around 100 pupils and a very nice school. For secondary schools there is a choice of either a bus to a small village secondary school - Charles Read High - also very nice (around 260 pupils I think), or various comprehensive and grammar schools in Grantham.

Ideally I'm looking for a 3/4/5 bedroom house London within easy travelling distance of Bloomsbury but would also consider Oxford and other areas for the right place. We do need a minimum of three bedrooms plus an extra downstairs room (which can be counted as an extra bedroom) and would consider 4/5 plus bedrooms.

We are walking distance from Grantham (my husband and son walk the 4 miles to the shops and back regularly) but it does take around 45 mins to an hour or so each way.

If you have any questions please don't hesitate to private message me - I'm a member of a few exchange forums and although I do try to check each thread regularly the private messages always get to me quicker.
