PostAdvert Subject: Exchange in Liverpool for Liverpool cannot move outside

Sorry my Housing Association Liverpool Mutual Homes told me friday that they will not allow tenants to swop homes outside liverpool so stuck here sorry for giving any false hopes........

I would consider a house in Liverpool area - south preferably that has a large garden at back instead of side - I love growing my own vegatables and cannot do it in side garden.

Would consider Aigburth, Wavertree, Childwall, Woolton - where I live now)

Sorry not Old Swan, Speke, Allerton, Sefton Park, Rocket, Belle Vale or netherly - lived in most of those places over the years.

Our home was council till 8th April then taken over by HA.

Its a 3 bed, end terrace ( but more like a semi) with front, back and side gardens.

So far house has had CH fitted with combi boiler - in June 2008, DG, new kitchens and bathrooms are to be fitted in the not to distant future we have been assured.

There is hall when you come in with Main downstairs room off it on right and kitchen at end, with downstairs toilet by back door.

Main radiator is in the hall on wall that backs onto main room

Upstairs there is bathroom with toilet and 3 bedrooms off a small hall.

Main room downstairs has a bay window and gas fire and is a good size - you can put round dining table either in corner opposite door or in window area. There is a built in cupboard on one wall next to fireplace ( fireplace one we have put in round the gas fire). The cupboard has glass doors covering 3 shelves that are deep and below two drawers and one big cupboard with two shelves, but wood doors. Above drawers is an open area with glass covered cupboard above. Radiator could not be fitted under the window so is on wall that backs onto hall - its a double one.

Kitchen is a galley type one, not very big, and at moment has two base units on one wall, with the old thin wall cupboard from 1930's above, but we have taken the door off. The is a sink unit on other wall. The emersion tank used to sit in kitchen but gone now and where it was now is a shelf. In the kitchen itself there is room for a cooker, washer and fridge freezer - we have a smaller one with microwave sitting on top and a chest freezer sitting in hall behind front door.

There is a panty still off kitchen but its only a small one, not walk in and handy for storing non food items.

Beyond kitchen is what orignally was outside toilet and coal house, but these are now part of house. The old coal house is a big massive cupboard and we took door and frame off and have tumble dryer in there. The downstairs toilet still has high up system and no sink but all works and is used, very handy. There is a bar at side of toilet to help anyone that needs it get up.

The hall, kitchen and downstairs toilet are tiled with red Quarry Tiles.

On stairs we have a second banister - so one each side. We had that put in. Stairs curve slightly to right and there is a side window which looks out over side garden.

Upstairs you come first to bathroom with toilet. Just plain white untilities in there - but includes a full size sink, which we had put in as one supplied was tiny.

The next room is back bedroom - with window looking out over back garden. This is where the combi boiler has been put. We are waiting for the workmen to come back and build a cupboard round it so at moment is just sitting on wall about half way up but near corner of room so tidy. There is an open fireplace in this room. Radiator is under the window. This room is over the main room but does not have a bay window like it.

Next room is biggest bedroom with radiator under window and next is the smallest room but has enough room for single bed and wardrobe and chests of drawers as well as storage for toys. Radiator is under the window.

There was flooring down but we had to take it up to have central heating fitted and its to damaged to go back down so floors are bare at moment, which looks awful I admit.

The front garden and front door face east. The front garden is on either side of the path, as house is on corner its bigger than other front gardens and goes straight into side garden - which i call the field as its rather large.

We dug over the front garden last winter and at moment it is bare apart from grass, some lavender and honeysuckle growing by front door. Side garden also is just grass with one very large poplar tree near fence and one fir we planted about 10 years ago and is growing. We have what we call our nature reserve at back of side garden ( its next to wall which backs on to house round corner - their back garden) it was branches we cut down from hedges which we left for local wildlife and plants and have grown over it, but that can easily be cleared.

Back garden is not that big, its a funny shape as its just tucked in between ajoining houses garden and one round the corner. Its full length of house across ways plus a bit more where side gate is but then cuts a diagnal so at top of garden its only about 15ft across. Also it slopes upwards and is rather stony, so I grow plenty out there but all in pots. There is a couple of flattish areas where I have greenhouses. The patio area is flagged and big enough for a bench and pots of plants on one side, and a shed, small patio table and chairs and pots of plants on other side as well as water barrel.

House has not been decorated for 3 years and badly needs doing I admit, but we knew work would be done so kept putting it off. Also we have 3 dogs so they don't help keeping paintwork in good condition. So would not advise anyone with dog allergy to consider house.

The front fence of the property is the border of Liverpool and technically the pavement outside belongs to knowsley council as do the road, massive pavement - where everyone parks their cars and houses on other side of road.

Oh yes there is a side entrance through the fence to the side garden off the side road.

Rent at moment is £57, went up in April and its band A for council tax.

We have prepaid meters in as they suit us ( hubby was taxi driver years ago and these saved us having big bill when he was paid daily) and we are used to them, we are with british gas for both gas and electric.

I can supply any photos if anyone wants them. At moment just have ones of side and back garden to hand.

Nearly forgot to put where we would like to move to if possible.

Anywhere rural - in cheshire - any of the small villages there, we don't need school or anything , North wales or up as far as blackpool or just beyond on the west coast. Just cannot move to far away as have to look after grandaughter at weekends and holidays so don't want to be more than 1 11/2 away.
