Hi,
I have a three bedroom semi detatched council house with right to buy, situated on a medium sized estate on the outskirts of Darlington, County Durham. The estate is made up of a mixture of dwellings ie; council, housing association & privately owned. The house has two double bedrooms and one single. The kitchen measures 18 foot x 13 foot and is fully fitted. It also has windows to three sides of the room letting in lots of light. The living room measures 18 foot x 10 foot and has windows to the back and front of the room also giving it a light airy feel. There is a separate bathroom and w.c and all of the bedrooms have a built in closet. The largest bedroom has a walk in closet which leads onto the attic which could be converted for storage. There is a fairly large well maintained garden to the rear of the house which is fully enclosed by a 6 foot fence and gate. And to the front of the house there is a smaller fenced off garden and a drive for a car. The house is fully double glazed and has gas central heating.
We are just around the corner from a post office, mini mart & a newly built primary school. Although we are approximately 1 mile from the town centre, we have a very good hail and ride bus service which takes you into town and past the train station. Darlington is approximately 20 minutes by train from Durham and 30 minutes from Newcastle, York and the east coast. My home is just a 15 minute walk from a beautiful park which has over recent years undergone a major redevelopment.
I am looking for a two or three bedroom property within the London area as I have family in Islington, north London. However I am willing to consider most parts of the south of England within an hours drive of London.
