A lot more in Banff( Tesco and Somerfields a new larger Tesco being built, Tesco do home delivery here )which is just 2 miles away, nice easy walk, they is a town service bus that goes all over Macduff and banff and the main bus which is the Inverness to Aberdeen service.
Very resonable rent (£52.64 a week at the moment)and council tax(£760.67 per year)water and sewage(£253.02 per year) is paid with Council Tax .
2 Beds with bathroom, no shower, upstairs.
1 bed with living room and kitchen downstairs no dining room kitchen not big enough for table.
Front garden is gravelled.
Back garden half is grass while the other half is gravel, 1 extablished rose near steps up to garden. Fenced on both sides.Solid stone wall at back of garden.Small old patio.Garden a very much blank canvas do what you want kind of thing.No shed.
Orignal floor boards through out house,(not sanded) concrete kitchen floor(no lino down).No carpets sorry we never put any down.
You can redecorate put in carpets, have a shed (as long as it is not to big) the way you like it. The council will not impose on you.As long as you keep the gardens tidy and the outside of house clean.
Wheelie bin collections and recycling fortnightly with food waste every week on a Wednessday.
We are wanting to move to be closier to family who live in New York coningsby.
We have a primary school in Macduff intake 500 pupils, a very good school, with a nursery and community centre attached .The Academy (Secondary school) is in Banff approx 2 miles away. It has had problems but is getting back on it's feet slowly. (please note that school buses are not free in Scotland).
