Looking for an exchange from a 1 bed room semi maisonette in Shard End.

Nice big place CH/DG upstairs property, 1 up 1 down. Very big place for the area.

1 double bedroom with loads of extra space for funiture and a built in storage cupboard/wardrobe.

Bathroom is large. Bath only, sink and toilet.

Kitchen is a typical council kitchen (i was informed that the area is having the kitchens refurbished - but we all know what the council are like!!!) Windows, doors and fasiers changed 18 months ago.

Livingroom is massive in my book for a maisonette. I have a 2 seater and 3 seater sofas including a large desk and a TV stand and plenty of space for other pieces of furniture . Livingroom has not long been decorated (lining paper and painted) and a lam floor fitted.

Hallway and stairs need attention as i have started to redecorate and rectify problems (all cosmetic) but will hopefully have it all ready to for anyone to put there own touch to it, I will be putting it back to look comfortable, there is an airing cupboard and a very large storage cupbored and also includes a coat and shoe cupboard.

I have lived in the property for nearly 9 years and really don't want to move but circumstances have changed, it's a nice little quiet place and nothing ever happens. Road side is not that busy in the day and very quiet of a night, you hear kids playing but they are never noisy. There is a young lad underneath, who has never caused any problems the whole time he has been living here, and two olderly people to the right. Just behind the property is a nice stretch of fields for walking pets or just a strole down the river Cole, which runs from Stetchford to Coleshill. Only a 2 minute walk to shops and bus stops. 3 min bus ride to Morrisons, Tesco and banks.

Would like:-

1/2 bed flat/maisonette/house, anything considered (not much fussed) in Sutton Coldfield, Mere Green, Falcan Lodge or surrounding areas to be closer to my son who lives in Mere Green. The commute is getting a bit much and I'm not getting to see him as much as I would like. Other than that I would stay as I have lived here for so many years without a problem, but my son comes first.
