I have a 3 bedroom council house in Leeds LS14.
It is classed as terraced but there is an archway from the front garden to the back that we share with our neighbour so technically only the upper floor is connected at that side.
The house itself has full double glazing and a brand new central heating system and bathroom. The area we have been told will be getting all new kitchens within the next 12 months (from an unofficial source who works on the council).
The front garden is big enough for two cars if you so wish to turn into a driveway.
The back garden is on two levels, with steps going down to a lower level (has been newly fenced off for safety of the kids and a new gate added.)
The area is quiet and we have no trouble whatsoever. The neighbours are quiet and friendly, both sides have children (but are freakishly quiet children if you ask me) we live near a primary school, a secondary school, local shops (co-op, butchers news agents etc...),doctors and chemist.
The council offices are next to the chemist. ( the doctors and chemist are about 60 seconds walk onto the next road)
A 10 minute bus ride into Leeds city centre for work or play, or you could go to Crossgates Mall for shopping (again about 5 Min bus route)
We have a huge Tesco's, Asda, Lidle, B&Q, Comet in two Mall like complexes AND Seacroft bus station of it's very own!
Ideally we are looking to move to the coast ( any coast ) but welcome other offers.
