We have a nice 3 Bed E.O.T house in a lovely area of Crawley, West Sussex (near Gatwick) RH11 8QX
The front of the house has a single drive that has double wrought iron gates at the front with a double wall with a flowerbed at the side off the drive with some ironwork and Iron Gate. To the right of the front gate is the garage witch has a new panel design white door. To the front of the house ample parking for visitors exists, as we are the end house in a cul-de-sac there is no through traffic. Which is a godsend for safety if you have young children. There is a junior school immediately adjacent our house so there are no properties overlooking our house. In fact you are looking on to grassy playing fields not houses that is nice. There is a footpath around the perimeter of our property, which means that the council is responsible for any repairs necessary to fencing. (Luvely jubbly)
Double-glazed front door into Entrance hall with Louvered cupboard (for shoes coats etc), and immediately on the right a bubble glass & wood door leading to the integral garage. To the left another double-glazed door leading to the hallway with oak effect flooring. To the right is our downstairs toilet. And there is a large cupboard large enough to hold a large upright freezer (The house has laminated flooring through out) The kitchen, which faces the rear of the house, has green alder effect tall 3 tier cupboards with oak fingerplates. 40mm maple plank effect Formica worktops the sink is cut into worktop, as is the gas hob. And large rectangular green marble tiles above worktop, and square terracotta ceramic floor tiles. The kitchen door is softwood with two opaque acid etched patterned glass panels. The dinning room door is a white panel door as is the rest of the house. The dinning room is stand-alone so to speak, so it does not access any other room. This is important because it means it can and has been used as a bedroom if necessary. It is fair to say that it is a fairly big dinning room. The disadvantage is that the bigger the dinning room the smaller the living room. But we think the house achieves a good balance providing the very best of usable space. The dinning room is wallpapered magnolia print on top dado rail & coving with sky blue print on bottom. I replaced all architrave & skirting through the whole house 3 years ago.

In the Living room we have a large window with a 90” drop. All the ceilings in the house are flat and smooth not artexed. The ceilings in this 70’s house are a little higher than modern equivalents .We have 4 spotlights in the ceiling with a single chrome fan for those hot summer months. A single wooden with etched glass door takes you into a small porch where a double glazed door opens into the garden.

The lounge is not enormous but is adequate to fit your three piece suit 50”plasma etc. It has a feature wall with a false mahogany fireplace dado rail & coving. Magnolia paper on top and green and silver bottom. The living room walls are not the other side of anyone else’s property so noise is not a problem, Indeed that is a feature of the whole property no noise is ever heard from our neighbour because of the design of the house.

The garden is bigger than our neighbours because we are the end house. The garden is an L shape so the size is deceiving, people with a square garden may think their garden is bigger. But measurements of square footage may well prove their garden is actually smaller. People with small gardens will think my garden massive, and people with massive gardens will think it tiny. Either way I say the garden is plenty big enough, small patio area all grass not a concrete garden, I would say the garden could do with a new patio, but I had to leave you something to do, Ha, Ha. Upstairs we have a Toilet and Bathroom, which is completely tilled with yellow tiles with blue border tiles. The ceiling is tongue and grove wood a power shower and new bath just fitted. Upstairs landing has airing cupboard.

2 Double bedrooms and 1 Large single with built in wardrobe. All bedrooms decorated.2 painted in magnolia. Single bedroom wall papered in a baby blue colour.

Our neighbours are nearly all middle-aged friendly and bye enlarge are private people who will help you but do not impose.
We are situated 15 minutes walk from town centre.5 minutes walk from local tesco shop.10 mts from local parade Primary school is 2 steps outside the gate.senior school 10 mns. Doctor’s surgery 10 minutes. Asda superstore 12 minutes, minutes walk. Tilgate Park 15 minute walk away. Southgate playing fields with skateboarding 10mns,New K2 sports centre with Olympic swimming pool 5 mns. Tilgate karate club 7 minutes. Football stadium 5 mns.Tilgate fishing 15 mts Megaplex 20 minutes walk. includes, cinema, hollywood bowl, large gym, several restaurants, TGI friday's and Brannigans (where we get visits from celebs)>>>>see links

Brighton Sea side is a 20-30 minute drive away and we aren't too far from shoreham and littlehampton. Gatwick airport is 10 minute drive from here so very handy for airport work.

We live in one of the nicest parts of Crawley and are very lucky to have everything so close by, especially as my wife doesn’t drive.
