Hi, I am looking for an exchange to the south of England. I have a three bedroom semi detatched council house in Darlington, County Durham which is in the north east of England. We are approximately 280 miles from London, 28 miles from Newcastle upon Tyne and a 20 minute train ride from the beautiful city of Durham to the north and 30 minutes from York to the south, we are also relatively to the north east coast. The house comes with a medium sized back garden (approximately 35 foot by 25 foot) and a small garden and drive to the front. The windows are fully double glazed and the house also has gas central heating. The house is situated on a medium sized estate made up of council, housing association & private dwellings. We are a mile from the town center. My house is a mere 2 minute walk from fields, and the river Skerne. We are also only a ten minute walk from a beautiful park. There is a shop, post office & hairdressers just around the corner from my home and also a newly built primary school. The school also provides onsite childcare facilities and an adult education centre. They have also built a football / basketball court alongside it. We have a regular bus service that takes you into town via the railway station. Darlington is a market town with outdoor markets on a Monday and Saturday and an indoor market which is open Monday to Saturday. The town has a range of leisure facilities including a cinema, 2 shopping centres (The Cornmill & Queen street), and the council are currently in the planning stages of building a further very impressive looking shopping development. Darlington also boasts several supermarkets including 1 sainsburys, 2 morrisons, 2 Icelands, 1 Asda & a Lidls. There are also at least 3 retail parks that I am aware of. I am looking for a two or three bedroom property in London or the south of England, (most areas will be considered).
