Here i have an old tenement 2 bedroom flat in Barnes Street, Barrhead. The flat has two double bedrooms, Large dining kitchen, Bathroom, Hallway, the living room is a funny shape but it is a great size. The flat has nice high celings and great size windows. The flat is in a 4 in a block. 2 people live down stairs and 1 upstairs. There is gardens at the back of the flats but they are shared with the other 3 people who live in the building. The flats have buzzer entry system. The close is clean and very quite. 1 person owns there flat and the other three are owned by Barrhead housing assocation. You hardly see the other people as they are all out at work. The street its self is quite. I have lived here since 18/09/2009 and never had any problems. My flat is on the first floor. There is on street parking, On your door step there is a dance school, car garage, aqua wash, a'able shutters. The train station is two mins walk away, Platform 1 will take you to kilmarnock (15 mins) Glasgow Platform 2) nine mins , Platform 3 takes you to glasgow (25 mins) there is also buses stop outside the flat and they will take you to Paisley 10 mins by bus. Neilston 10 mins, auckenback another part of barrhead 15 mins. There is also cafes, fish and chips shops, hair dressers, banks, etc only mins walk. There is a bus that runs to Newton Mearns, neilston, uplawmoore, eaglesham, East Kilbride but that runs from barrhead main street, also a bus that runs to silverburn, glasgow. There are two pubs that are mins walk. Tesco and lidl are 10 mins walk from the flat with many other shops. There are also buses runing to breahead. nursery's and school's are about 20 mins walk. High school is about the same. In the main street there is a brand new built health and care centre. Next to that there is the council buildings. There is also barrhead's sports centre and a nursery that takes kids from 6 weeks old up to 3 years old. Two mins from there is a play park. In the main street there is a post office with many other shops, post office, halifax bank, take away's cafes. I am open to most areas but would like a back and front garden. I would accept another flat but on the ground floor. I am wanting to move as i want a fresh start and wanting out of a close.
