Our house is in 1of the highest points in sussex & is situated in the truely picturesque area of Ashdown forest, -the garden backs directly onto Ashdown forest. walks in every direction, yet still only a mile and a half away from crowborough town which has all amenities. there are 3 primary schools locally and one senior school which is walking distance. there is a lovely primary school and a nursery in the woods at the end of our lane, approximately 10 mins walk away. Parking is in the layby at end of path or in laybys and roadside on london road for visitors. There is a photo of small footpath to layby from front door. The path makes the house set back from road, benefiting in extra privacy and safety for animals and children outside. Google map does not show our house properly as it is actually on Hoadleys Lane despite the address. You can not hear traffic or any noisy neighbours as they are all genuinely amazing, we have all always helped each other out, couldn't get better. I have mobility needs and have always been able to get to and from car in a wheel chair with ease when needed. HOUSE:The only adaptions that are perminently on house is two extra handrails in bathroom, low and high eyehole on front door and extra handrail on stairs. -as rest are removeable adaptions i will take with me. BATHROOM:- is downstairs, tiled floor to ceiling(great for children and cleaning!)with over bath shower. LOUNGE:- is a nice size, can be lounge/dining room if needed. It has windows both sides and a fireplace. also in far corner there is large walk in cupboard with shelves and little window. KITCHEN:- is small with window to views out back, units are a little dated but we were due a new kitchen last year but were put top of list for this year, it is due to be completed before december 2012! large under stair cupboard also. BEDROOM 1:-as large as lounge, photo shows one half of room, its twice the size, could be made into two doubles if needed. BEDROOM 2:-small front facing bedroom with built in wardrobe, we have bunk bed in but would just about fit as a double. BEDROOM 3:-small box room with airing cupboard, rear facing views. it is a small single. GARDEN:-huge beautiful garden front, side, and back. The garden backs onto ashdown forest, with a private forest area to side of garden and only one garden ajoining, with high trees for privacy. Only a few neighbours, a very quiet and lovely area. There is a brick shed with power and a huge shed at bottom. ideally would love a 4way swap with two households so our family can move at same time- they have a 3 bedroom house and garden in a lovely part of crowborough aswell and would like to move also. WILL MOVE ANYWHERE OUTSIDE EAST SUSSEX. house or bungalow, 2 or 3 bedroom with garden.
