I have a lovely 2 bed new build garden, the property has a downstairs loo and a bathroom upstairs, a large kitchen and large bedroom, medium size living room and second bedroom. The garden is more on the small to medium size range and the house is attached to 4 other homes, we are on the end and have allocated parking. House is called a house for life, everything is wider so is easily accessible for wheelchair users and adaptions can easily be made such as having a stairlift installed so the stairs are wider and the switch on the wall is already there for stairlift. Our home is north Devon home association and pets are allowed.
2 min walking distance you have a part of Barnstaple called Newport where you can find your local Spar shop, hairdressers, takeaways etc and the secondary school is a 5 min walk.
To get into the main town centre it is about a 10 min walk and on your way you will come across Rock park which is great in the summer and has a lovely walk along the river.
If you are more beachy person, the nearest beach is about 15 min drive where dogs are allowed all year round, other beaches are around the same 15/20 min drive, views are beautiful here and I love the beaches at summer but due to my partner living in Hertfordshire, I have to move up there with my son to help look after his parents.
