It’s a twenty minute walk in the opposite direction to the centre of historic Shrewsbury (there’s also a regular bus service with a bus stop just round the corner). Endless local walks along River Severn etc. Post Office and Co-op at end of next street, corner shop is two minute walk away. A5 bypass/M54 motorway within 1 mile—Birmingham is a 40min drive south, Liverpool 90min north.
